In this hands-on 3.5-hour workshop, students will join Rhode Island Textile artist, Diane Harrison to learn the basics of botanical printing on fabric. Learn how to transfer pigments from flowers and foliage onto silk fabric to reveal their beautiful colors, textures, and patterns. Students will each print a luxurious, silk charmeuse scarf.
This workshop will give students the knowledge to continue experimenting with botanical printing on fabric or garments on their own. No previous experience is necessary. All materials will be provided. Please dress in clothes that you don’t mind  getting a little messy. The workshop is limited to only eight students, so sign up early to reserve your space!
